So iv not looked about the website about this rule. But to make this simple. Does this mean that, Nick for instance could still be a HIGH ELF (I know he wants it so bad) lol. BUT play on the Ebon side of things (Resulting in Raids, groups etc... with Ebon Races)
Hope I explained that right....
I to would like to play a High Elf, this is why im asking.... But want to be involved in Raids, PvP and Groups. I understand that guilds can have different alliances within them, but im not talking about that.
So... can anyone give details on this 'Early Access Perk'

Yeah if you have the Explorer's Pack you can play any race in any alliance. So yes to your question, you can play a High Elf and pick the Ebonheart Pact Alliance and you will raid, group and pvp with Ebonheart as a High Elf.

Yup consider it like racial ties to factions have zero meaning outside of role play purposes. The only thing that has any affect on grouping or claiming keeps for your guild etc, is your actual choice of faction!

so just to confuse things. Does that mean that if I had an aldmeri dominion player in your guild that was better suited to the role you need me to play in a pop raid that I can use that character in the raid but won't be able to lay any claims or that despite being in your guild am not eligible to fight with you?

Unfortunately, once a character is created, he/she/it is locked to that faction for the purpose of grouping & PVP. The explorer's pack only applies during character creation.
